The Girl Who Stole the Wind is a children's picture book concept centered on curiosity, movement, and imagination. The story follows a young girl who discovers that the wind has mysteriously disappeared from the world, leaving nature still and lifeless. Determined to bring it back, she embarks on a journey that gradually restores movement, freedom, and balance to her surroundings. The illustrations are envisioned in a dreamy, painterly digital style, using a contrast of warm and cool tones to emphasize the shift between stillness and motion. Composition and atmosphere play a central role in expressing emotion and narrative flow, particularly in moments of flight and release. Created for young readers, this project reflects my interest in poetic storytelling and using illustration to communicate abstract ideas through visual narrative.
